Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion:
The first half of October has been a chilly one. Our temperatures have been about five degrees below average month to date. It’s also been slightly drier than average. We’ve picked up about half of an inch less than normal.
The dry trend continues this week, but our temperatures should be slightly above average for this time of year.
A ridge of high pressure is setting up shop just off shore and isn’t going to budge much over the next seven days! Chilly, foggy mornings will continue along with the sunny mild afternoons. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s Tuesday – Friday with possible low 70s by Saturday.
No rain gear needed for at least seven days!
