Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion:
Cooler weather is making its way in from the Pacific Ocean as a slight trough of low pressure moves in from the north. As of 11 a.m., temperatures were down 10 degrees from 24 hours ago.
Temperatures should still make it to the low 80s, but not the upper 80s or low 90s like earlier in the week.
Friday we’ll likely see the marine layer make it east of the Coast Range. The cloud cover that we do see will still break up mid day, revealing sunny skies, but this in combination with the cooler air mass will keep our temperatures in the upper 70s.
Saturday will be a transition day back to warmer weather. We’ll see a few brief morning clouds and then it’ll be back to sunny skies and highs in the low 80s.
By Sunday, highs will be right back up into the mid 80s and it’ll be upper 80s Monday through Wednesday.
Have a great day!
