More Dry Weather on the Way

Melissa-Frey-500x500-250x250 Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion:

We’ve seen mostly dry conditions for the first half of Thursday and even some nice sun breaks! Highs will climb to the upper 40s and low 50s before falling to the mid 30s tonight. There is still the chance for a few light showers late this afternoon and early evening.

A second storm will move through on Friday. This will bring in another round of scattered showers, which all continue to fall as snow above 2,000′. Willamette Pass picked up 4″ overnight and Santiam picked up about 2″. We’ll see another 1-3″ tonight and 1-2″ on Friday.

Starting Saturday a ridge of high pressure will block any other storms from moving into the Pacific Northwest. This means its back to dry and quiet weather Saturday through Wednesday. Highs will stay in the mid 40s with lows in the upper 20s and low 30s.

Have a great day!
