Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:
The storm bringing showers and a few thunderstorms Wednesday has moved off to the east. Skies will be mostly sunny by Thursday afternoon with temperatures in the mid 60s along the coast, upper 60s in the Willamette Valley and low 70s in the Umpqua Basin.
We still remain under the influence of an upper-level trough over the next couple of days, but the only influence it will have on our weather is sparking a few thunderstorms across the Cascades Friday through Monday. Otherwise, skies remain partly cloudy through next week with temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 70s in land and mid 60s along the coast.
Have a great Thursday!
