Valley Fog & Coastal/Mtn. Sun Continues

METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Fog will settle back into the valleys Monday night, leading to dense fog Tuesday morning. The fog will slowly lift throughout the day, and we should see a few peaks of the sun. Expect the mostly sunny skies along the coast and in the Cascades to continue. High will be near 60 along the coast, near 50 in the mountains, and near 40 in the valleys on Monday.

Slight changes come Wednesday as an upper level low moves into Oregon. This low will bring some moisture with it, but nothing too impressive. Still we could see a few light showers along the coast and some flurries in the Cascades. Once again, this storm is going to be very weak as the high pressure ridge in control is so strong.

Our weather will return to dense fog in the valleys and mostly sunny skies along the coast and in the Cascades Thursday. This weather pattern will persist through next weekend.

Have a terrific Tuesday!
