METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
The marine layer pushed in along the coast Sunday night and worked its way through the coastal gaps into the southern Willamette Valley. The clouds burn off quickly Monday morning. Mostly sunny skies will continue for the rest of the day. High temperature will be cooler than last week, with highs in the low 60s along the coast, low 80s for the valley & foothills, and mid 80s for the Umpqua.
Skies will remain mostly sunny for the upcoming week with high temperatures about the same as Monday.
An upper level low will move across the area Tuesday night through Friday. This low will increase cloud cover across the area and bring the chance for a few thunderstorms in the mountains.
Have a magnificent Monday!
