EUGENE, Ore. — Highway 126 at Greenhill Rd. has been opened after a crash sent a woman to the hospital this morning. Crews were working to get the road open and clear of the 100 gallons of diesel fuel that spilled after a woman crashed into an empty logging truck.

The driver of the car was sent to the hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the truck was unharmed.

Highway 126 is closed at Greenhill Rd. Multiple crews  are responding to an accident between an empty log truck and a Subaru on West 11th Ave. and Greenhill Rd. The crash is blocking the road and hazmat is on-scene.

The driver of the Subaru was transferred to the hospital with unknown injuries and the log truck driver has no known injuries. The truck lost 100 gallons of diesel fuel into the ditch and onto the road.

We have a crew on site and will have more information as it becomes available. Expect lengthy delays and take an alternative route if possible.
