SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — A motorcyclist was being treated at a hospital after a crash on Highway 126 Sunday.
The crash, involving three cars and a motorcycle, happened in the west bound lanes near the Mohawk exit.
“The motorcyclist was behind that SUV, was able to get over between the SUV and the guardrail which fortunately for him otherwise there’s a possibility he could have been killed because another car then rear ended that third involved SUV,” said Brian Humphreys, Springfield Police Officer.
Police say the hood flew up on the SUV, which caused the driver to pull over and the driver behind to crash into it.
First responders say the motorcyclist suffered non-life threatening injuries.
