Motorcyclists Prepare for Kilcullen Ride

EUGENE, Ore. — More than 200 motorcyclists rode to honor fallen Eugene Police Officer Chris Kilcullen last year. This year, organizers of the memorial ride hope to have many more this Sunday.

By charging riders $40, the event raises money for the Chris Kilcullen Memorial Scholarship.

“The kind of feedback that we got from last year is that people wanted more, bigger, better. So that’s what we’re trying to do and trying to encourage as many people as possible to come along with us. It’ll be a great time,” said ride organizer Officer Brian Antone.

If you don’t ride a motorcycle, you can hop a ride on the Oregon Party Bus.
