Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:
Wednesday’s storm brought a lot of rain across the area. Rainfall totals were around 0.25-0.5 inches along the coast and .69-2 inches inland.
Showers will continue Thursday morning as the storm slowly moves off to the east. Showers will end, for the most part, Thursday afternoon, but skies will remain cloudy and it will still feel muggy with high dew points. Temperatures will be near 60 along the coast and near 70 degrees inland.
A cold front will swing through early Friday, bringing more showers across the area. This front won’t bring cold air into the area, but it will bring drier air. Showers will continue into the early parts of Saturday, but we should have some nice clearing behind the front for the afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the mid 70s.
High pressure builds in next week. This will keep skies mostly sunny with high temperatures climbing into the mid 60s along the coast and low to mid 80s inland.
Have a great Thursday!
