EUGENE, Ore. — Chip Kelly will remain the head coach at Oregon next season.
“We’re ecstatic that Coach Kelly decided to remain at the University of Oregon,” Athletic Director Rob Mullens said. “Obviously, we’ve had unprecedented success over the past four years.”
Mullens said he got a call from Kelly Sunday night during the Civil War basketball game.
He also said no contract negotiations were discussed for Kelly or his assistants.
