National Guard Cars Vandalized

LEBANON, Ore. — Police say a total of 11 privately owned vehicles belonging to National Guard soldiers were vandalized and ransacked. Police believe the crimes were committed out of anger toward the National Guard.

Vandals hit the secured National Guard compound in Lebanon belonging to Alpha Troop 1-82 Cavalry when the soldiers were away on their annual training in Boise, Idaho.

Police are investiating surveillance video from nearby businesses that shows a man leaving the scene.
