Natural Grocers Opens in Corvallis

CORVALLIS, Ore. — A Natural Grocers store just opened in Corvallis Tuesday, putting 25 people to work.

It’s located where Grocery Outlet used to be. The store doesn’t sell anything with high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavoring or sweeteners, and the manager says it also sells its products for less than the suggested retail price.

“We want to provide affordable health food that everyone can have access to, 100 percent organic produce, and it also includes the wellness of the planet and the happiness of the employees,” said Cat Hill, Store Manager.

She says to ensure happiness of employees, the store pays higher than minimum wage and offers more benefits than other retailers.
