EUGENE, Ore. — Students at Northwest Christian University are taking a day off from classes Wednesday to go serve the community.
This is the group’s 15th annual Embrace the Community Day event.
About 300 students, faculty and staff will take part in 15 projects at 13 local organizations, like St. Vincent de Paul, Food for Lane County, Amazon Park and Hosea Youth Services.
We talked with NCU student Ally Mittleider on KEZI 9 News This Morning about her school’s projects.
