SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — If you’re looking for some help achieving those financial goals this year, you won’t have to go far. NEDCO in Springfield is offering qualifying Lane County residents a 3:1 match on their savings account.
The Individual Development Account (IDA) provides money and financial education and counseling. The program can be used towards home ownership, buying a car or starting a business.
Program Manager Mindy Bell says, “The thing that we’re running into this year is that we have funding and our funding year ends Mar. 31, 2014, so we have funding available now for folks and so we’re really encouraging folks to contact us.”
