SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Residents in Springfield may soon have a new place to play outdoors.
The Pacific Park Homeowners Association is interested in donating a common area to Willamalane so it can be developed into a neighborhood park. The four-acre parcel of land is located east of Pioneer Parkway between T and U streets.
An open house meeting to discuss plans and get public input is Tuesday, March 19 from 6-7:30 p.m. in The Park at Emerald Village, located at 1950 N. Second St.
Development of Pacific Park will be funded in part by the 2012 Willamalane Bond Measure.
