Residents in the neighborhood said their normal routes have been altered but if it means improving the road conditions they don’t mind the detour.
Zack Rodgers, who travels on Coburg regularly to visit family, said the construction hasn’t created much of a hassle. He said it’s the end results that matter.
“It’ll be cool to see what they did. Construction always gets in the way and when it’s done, you’ll see they did a nice job and also it’s definitely worth it,” said Rodgers.
The road will re-open near Chad Drive on Monday morning.
