EUGENE, Ore. — An empty warehouse in Eugene could soon be the area’s newest multi-use athletic facility.
A local developer is currently working on acquiring the lease to the IB Roofing Company on Chad Drive across from Costco.
She hopes to turn the warehouse into basketball and volleyball courts open to anyone in the community.
A final meeting will be held on October 17 to get city approval.
If all goes well, renovations could start as early as November.
