CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State University unveiled its new logo a little last week and new gear is already for sale.

The Beaver Store received shipments of T-shirts bearing the new beaver logo and many OSU students came into the store Wednesday to check out the new apparel.

The store manager says the products are selling well. Just a week on the floor and they’re already halfway gone.

“I wasn’t a very big fan at first, but it’s starting to grow on me. It’s something new and cool,” said OSU junior Tom Gilkey.

“I’m definitely going to buy this beaver shirt, new logo, go Beavs, little big but I’ll work into it,” said OSU sophomore Mitch Miller.

OSU unveiled the new beaver logo as part of an overall re-branding effort with Nike. As for fans of the old logo, items with that logo can be bought through next year.

More OSU products with the new logo are set to arrive in April.
