EUGENE, Ore. — The housing options seem endless for University of Oregon students and now, students have one more place to chose from when selecting their home away from home.
A brand new 3-story building on Ferry Street is the latest option for students. The 13-unit boutique apartment complex has studios, as well as, two and three bedroom units.
Each apartment comes furnished, something the developer says is in high-demand.
“A lot of properties don’t offer furnishings, so in order to be competitive and to have a niche, our properties are furnished. And it allows someone from out of town, or out of state, to want to come and live and they don’t have to bring furnishings,” said Steve Master, owner of Master Development.
Master says when he designs a building he and his team always watch for the latest trends; they take notes on the latest colors, materials and design. For this reason, they chose the color green for the front of the building because that’s the latest color in today’s fashion world.
All the studio apartments are already leased, so there’s only two and three bedroom units left. A two bedroom runs at $1,470 a month and a three bedroom will cost $2,025, both prices include utilities.
