EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon Department of Forestry was busy this weekend, battling a wildfire Saturday night and another near Triangle Lake Monday Morning.
The wildfire Saturday night was contained by Sunday morning. The fire near Triangle Lake started around 5:00 a.m. at a 15-year-old logging plantation and has burned 1.5 acres. ODF has crews, numerous fire trucks and a helicopter working on the fire, which should be controlled sometime today.
