Chief Meteorologist Justin Stapleton‘s Wednesday Night Forecast Discussion:
Last day of 90+ heat as the low is on the move and the cooler air will start to spill in for the weekend. Overnight tonight, winds will settle down and lows also dip back into the mid to low 50s. Saturday will be cooler with highs hitting into the mid 80s with plenty of sunshine, then even cooler for Sunday. The trough of cooler air really kicks in on Sunday with highs only reaching the low 80s!
In fact, a good westerly push for most of next week from the ocean should hold highs very comfortable, in the low 80s most of the week. Additionally, another trough of low pressure moves in by Tuesday and Wednesday bringing increased cloud cover and possibly a slight chance for some isolated showers at the coast and in the mountains. I don’t think we’ll see any develop in the inland valleys, but it will pump some much needed moisture through, bringing up the dangerously low humidity levels.
Have a great weekend!
