EUGENE, Ore. — We got our first look Wednesday at the latest styles to hit Autzen Stadium, when the Ducks hit the field on September 1.
Nike just released photos of the team’s latest attire.
All eyes are on the Ducks when it comes to trend-setting in athletic apparel, and Nike is calling these latest designs “the most advanced football uniform system to date.”
The jerseys and pants are made up of Nike maille mesh, a lightweight and breathable material that we saw players sporting at the Rose Bowl.
Most noticeable though is the new design, including the new wing design on the shoulders inspired by the shape of a mallard’s feathers.
So far no fans have complained about the new style. They just hope more than anything that the new uniforms keep up Oregon’s winning streak.
