EUGENE, Ore. — With just more than a month to reach their fundraising goal, supporters of a local skate park need your help to raise the cash.
They’re still $240,000 short. But Monday night Ninkasi Brewing will donate 25 percent of its pint sales to the project, which would build the skatepark under the Washington-Jefferson Bridge.
“Particularly for the people who been working on this since 2004 this is a very gratifying opportunity and community event,” said Terry Smith, Eugene Parks Foundation Member.
The event lasts until 9 p.m. Monday at Ninkasi Brewing.
