EUGENE, Ore. — A local non-profit is raising money for families who are suffering from flooding in India.
India Partners hopes to raise $20,000 to help those impacted by the massive flooding in Andhra Pradesh. They’re mainly sending food and some hygiene supplies.
India Partners leaders says it’s a dire situation.
“There’s a lot of homes in low-lying areas that are completely submerged and then some other larger structures are flooded up to the first floor,” said Dean Reese, India Partners Spokesman.
Reese says they’ve already raised more than $500 in just two days.
