Non-Profit Raises Money With Art

EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon Supported Living Program (OSLP) held its 5th Annual Benefit Art Show Saturday.

It was held at Cozmic Pizza on 8th Avenue from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The show featured the visual and performance art of adults with developmental disabilities. The money raised will benefit the group’s travel fund, which assists people with developmental disabilities to visit friends and family as well as explore new places and experiences.

“This trip fund helps their abilities to go out and attain the trip of their dreams,” said Gretchen Dubie, OSLP Executive Director.

OSLP client Lisa Sansevere said, “All the hard work we do pays off in the end. When someone purchases our stuff, it makes us feel a part of something.”

OSLP is a non-profit that provides residential and vocational services to men and women in Lane County with developmental disabilities.
