LAKESIDE, Ore. — A crash on Highway 101 near Lakeside killed a North Bend man Sunday morning.
Jon Copsey, 60, was traveling southbound along Highway 101 when he drove off the shoulder, into the brush and struck a tree.
Copsey was pronounced dead at the scene when Oregon State troopers arrived.
His wife Beatrice Copsey was also in the car and suffered minor injuries. Beatrice Copsey was taken to the hospital but released later in the day.
