COOS BAY, Ore. — A North Bend man is dead after crashing his car outside Coos Bay early Sunday morning.
State Troopers say 30-year-old Thomas Charles Bunch was driving along Highway 241, three miles northeast of Coos Bay, when he lost control of his vehicle, slid sideways, and smashed into a guardrail.
Bunch, who was operating the vehicle with a suspended license, was taken a Coos Bay hospital where he died.
Oregon State Police are continuing the investigation into the cause of the crash.
