November 2013 Special Election Results

Some voters in Oregon took part in the Special Election on Nov. 5, which included several measures dealing with money.

Here are the current results as of 8 p.m. Tuesday from the elections in Lane and Benton counties:

Lane County:

Measure 20-217: River Road Park and Recreation District
5-year renewal of local option tax for general operations
Yes: 1,756 votes – 77%
No: 518 votes – 23%

Measure 20-218: Junction City School District #69
Junction City School District Bond Measure
Yes: 1,272 votes – 36%
No: 2,287 votes – 64%

Measure 20-219: Springfield School District #19
Springfield School Bond to Upgrade Schools, Replace Hamlin Middle School
Yes: 6,259 votes – 48%
No: 6,723 votes – 52%

Benton County:

Measure 22-21: City of Albany General Obligation Bond Authorization
Yes: 1,061 votes – 49%
No: 1,089 votes – 51%

Measure 02-86: Corvallis Livability, Public Safety and City Services Local Option Tax Levy
Yes: 6,130 votes – 52%
No: 5,636 votes – 48%

Measure 02-85: County Estates Road District 5-Year Local Option Tax for Operations, repairs
Yes: 95 votes – 81%
No: 22 votes – 19%

Linn County:

Measure 22-121: City of Albany General Obligation Bond Authorization

Yes: 3,317 votes – 45.56%

No: 3,959 votes – 54.38%
