NWCCU Breaks Ground on New Headquarters

EUGENE, Ore. — Northwest Community Credit Union broke ground Monday on a new headquarters building site in downtown Eugene.

City, county and Northwest Community leadership recognized the occasion with several speeches and a ceremonial spading of the earth.

The headquarters will be 68,000 square feet, four stories tall, with underground parking and a rooftop terrace. The president and CEO of Northwest Community Credit Union says the new facility will help push the company’s presence within the community.

“I am about as thrilled as I can be I think. We’re so excited that we’re going to be a part of the revitalization of the Eugene core, the city of Eugene, so we can’t wait to get the work started,” said John Iglesias, President & CEO of Northwest Community Credit Union.

Northwest Community’s 150-member workforce will move to the new building with capacity to expand to more than 300 employees.
