Oakridge Teen in Custody

OAKRIDGE, Ore. — The chief of police in Oakridge says a teenager is in juvenile custody after concerns that he was planning to hurt classmates.

Chief Scobert says it came to his attention last Tuesday that the un-named 12-year-old might have had a list of students he wanted to hurt. He says the teen was immediately removed from school, and there was no credible threat.

KEZI 9 News called the Oakridge School District, but it hasn’t responded yet.
