EUGENE, Ore. — Mayor Kitty Piercy will announce October 2012 as “Housing America Month” at an affordable housing photo exhibit, Monday night. The name is to encourage citizens to recommit themselves to the affordable housing and community development needs.
A photo exhibit, sharing affordable housing development sites around Eugene, will be available for viewing at the Eugene Public Library at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 8. All photos are of affordable housing developed by the Housing And Community Services Agency (HACSA) of Lane County, Metropolitan Affordable Housing, St. Vincent de Paul Society of Lane County and ShelterCare.
