ODOT Considers Closing Lane on Hwy. 20

Near EDDYVILLE, Ore. — ODOT is mulling a decision to close down one lane of Highway 20, about six miles west of Eddyville.

The Yaquina River eroded part of the highway’s foundation, which collapsed into the water. That section needs to be rebuilt and repaved.

ODOT needs to put out a bid and select a contractor before it can get the project started.

If the highway is restricted to single lane, traffic will be flagged 24 hours a day.
