ODOT Seeks Territorial Highway Feedback

EUGENE, Ore. — Lane County is looking for feedback from the public on a plan to make a stretch of Territorial Highway safer.

ODOT and the county want to improve the highway for pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers. They’re making a corridor plan for the section running from Gillespie Corners to Lorane Road.

Anyone with concerns or suggestions can voice them at one of two open houses on Monday. Both meetings are at King Estate Winery and will include a presentation and workshop. They happen from 2:30-4:30 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Information gathered Monday will be used to make alternative designs for open houses early next year.
