OHA Offers Reward in Elk Poaching Case

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. — The Oregon State Police Fish & Wildlife Division is asking for the public’s help to identify the suspects involved in an elk poaching incident.

Troopers say on Monday morning an elk was found shot and left for waste on Cavitt Creek Road near Sampson Butte.

The Oregon Hunters Association Turn-in-Poacher Reward Program is offering a reward of $500 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this investigation.
