One More Clear Day Before Some Changes

Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion

The Rex Block pattern that has controlled our weather for the past week remains in control for Monday. Skies stay clear inland, so expect another chilly start in the morning with highs near 70 by the afternoon.

The Rex Block begins to break down Tuesday as the upper level low, from beneath the upper level high, slides into northern California. With movement of the low, we will switch back to onshore  flow, which will increase fog and clouds inland each morning. High temperatures will remain near 70 inland and near 60 along the coast.

The forecast becomes more cloudy towards the end of the week as a front approaches. So far the front does not appear too strong, but there will be a slight chance for showers Friday night through the weekend. The best chance for the showers will be along the coast and to our north. Highs will be in the upper 60s inland and low 60s along the coast.

I hope you have a Wonderful Week!
