Chief Meteorologist Justin Stapleton‘s Daily Forecast Discussion:
The low slinging these fronts at the Northwest will head southward and move through on Monday and Tuesday. So expect to keep unseasonably cooler temps in the mid 60s and more cloudy skies than sunny for both Monday and Tuesday. UO commencement will be cool (especially for the Duck Walk at 8:45am) and you might see an occasional shower or two with temps in the mid 50s heading into Matt Knight Arena at 10:30am.
Shower chances will also increase for most of the afternoon as the low itself will swing through the state. Most of the showers will be after lunch and a lot will be confined to the Cascades throughout the rest of the day. In fact, the mountains may see a stray thunderstorm or two pop up Monday afternoon because of the cold nature of the air overhead and
High pressure slowly nudges its way back into the picture on Tuesday clearing out the clouds by the afternoon and then summertime is back quickly next week as highs will push into the upper 70s and sunny again by Wednesday and Thursday.
Have a great Monday!
