One More Day of Rain before Sunny & Warm

METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION: 

Heavy rain moved through Tuesday night; bringing around 0.3″ to the valley, Cascades and northern coast, and around 0.1″ for Douglas and Coos counties. Scattered showers will continue throughout Wednesday. Highs will remain in the low 60s inland and upper 50s along the coast.

Thursday will be the transition day; a few showers will linger in the morning, but skies will transition to partly sunny by the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 60s.

High pressure moves in Friday through Tuesday. The weather will be dry and warmer with highs in the mid to upper 70s in the valley, near 80 in the Umpqua Basin and low 60s along the coast.
