Opinions Wanted in Trapper Project

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — The Willamette National Forest will host a public meeting Tuesday on the revised Trapper Logging Project.

The project proposes harvesting 44 acres of land near Blue River, as well as prescribed fires on 36 of those acres.

The public can share their views on the project and ask questions to specialists.

The meeting is from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Springfield.
