Oregon Air Fair Lands in Eugene

EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon Air Fair lands in Eugene this weekend.

A flyover by two F-16 fighter jets will kick off the event.

Colonel Jeff “Rookie” Rooks, an Oregon native, and his wingman Captain Sam “Paco” Stevens flew in Thursday afternoon.

Joe Abbott–also a retired Air Force pilot–says the event gives the inside scoop in flying military jets.

If you’re thinking about heading out to the Oregon Air Fair, it runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Oregon Air & Space Museum.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for kids.
