Oregon Hosts Drug Take-Back April 27

If you have any expired medications or ones you don’t intend to use, there’s a safe way to get rid of them this weekend.

Oregon is taking part in the National Drug Take-Back Day.

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality says 43 places around the state will serve as drop-off locations for unwanted medications on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

DEQ says people should not bring needles, IV solutions, mercury thermometers or medical waste. Also, no illegal drugs such as meth and cocaine should be brought either.
