Oregon Natural Gas Prices Change

EUGENE, Ore. — Northwest Natural Gas prices will go up starting Nov. 1 due to a slightly higher wholesale price.

This is the first time the cost of gas has increased in five years.

Customers say the price is alright with them because it will only be a 91-cent increase per month. That’s the rate for those using 53 therms. Prices are changing soon after an annual review.

Cascade Natural Gas customers will see close to a $6 increase.

Avista Utilities customers will actually see a nearly $4 decrease per month.
