EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon Department of Transportation is beginning a study to improve passenger rail service between Portland and Eugene.
The Oregon Passenger Rail Survey is the first step in a plan to explore the possibility of high speed rail between the two cities.
ODOT is holding an open house in Eugene, Wednesday, to inform the public about the project.
It runs from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Atrium Building downtown.
