7-16 MARTINSONJOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore.– Oregon State Police are actively searching for a murder suspect in a wooded area of Josephine County Wednesday.

OSP said Daniel Martinson has a felony warrant out for a murder in Cave Junction last November. They said they believe he stabbed Arron Clouser in the back several times and left him to die in the middle of the street.

OSP said he was spotted several times Tuesday night in the area near Page Mountain Sno-Park. He ran from police Wednesday morning on a motorcycle through several remote dirt roads.

Police said Martinson is considered armed and dangerous and was last seen wearing camouflage clothing and has shaved his head. He is missing a front tooth and has a tattoo on his back of a pit bull with the word “outlaw” tattooed below. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
