EUGENE, Ore. — Partiers packed downtown Eugene as they rang in the new year.
Overall, EPD says it didn’t respond to any major problems. But, as is often the case, there were some impaired drivers on the roads.
Oregon State Police was one of several agencies that held saturation patrols.
Statewide, troopers cited 39 drivers for DUII Monday night and Tuesday morning. Four of those were in the immediate area.
Since the New Year’s enforcement period started on Friday, troopers arrested nearly 75 drivers for DUII.
