Oregon Students Enroll for Online K-12

computer keyboardEUGENE, Ore. — Students in Lane County can enroll in a different kind of school this fall where all the learning is done online instead of in a classroom.

The program is called the Oregon Connections Academy.

The online public charter school offers classes for students K through 12.

It’s fully accredited and teachers are all state certified. The program also offers families flexibility.

“If they want to be more involved with the child’s education, this is a great program for them if they want some flexibility but high accountability with their children and children’s education this is a great choice,” said Laura Dillion, school outreach coordinator.

The school year follows the regular school calendar year, September through June.
