Oregon Voter Turnout Down This Year

SALEM, Ore. — Initial reports show that voter turnout this year was lower than in 2008. Yet, election offices are still processing unsigned ballots, so there’s fluctuation every day.

On Tuesday, initial results from the Secretary of State’s office showed an Oregon voter turnout of 81 percent, that number dipped to 75 percent ¬†on Thursday.

Here’s a look at county turnout this year, compared to those in 2008.
