OSP Makes Correction on Investigation

EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon State Police is making a correction to its investigation of a deadly wreck on Aug. 26th of this year.

Two people died in the two-car wreck on Crow Road west of Eugene.

Initially it was determined that Shaylinn Pearl Manchester of Veneta crossed the centerline and collided head-on with Zachary Jacob Moitoza, killing both drivers.

However, state police now say it was Moitoza’s vehicle that caused the crash, crossing the centerline and colliding with Manchester.
