CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State University’s bass fishing placed well at a weekend tournament in Arizona.
The school’s club team took first place in the qualifying College Fishing Western Conference Tournament.
Zach MacDonald and Ryan Sparks met the five-bass limit, weighing out to nine pounds of fish.
The two won $2,000 and will advance to the College Fishing Western Conference Invitational Tournament.
