OSU Holding Blood Drive

CORVALLIS, Ore. — The need never goes away, and if you want to save a life, the Red Cross is looking for blood donors.

The nonprofit is holding a blood drive on Oregon State University’s campus all week long.

The Red Cross says storms across the country have cancelled hundreds of blood drives. That’s thousands of donations they were banking on getting.¬†ow they’re looking for donors to make up for the need.

“Especially people who are O negative is extremely important because they’re the universal donor, but we take all blood because it’s all needed at the moment,” said student volunteer Colton Swearingen.
